Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Roamania (roamania.app), run by Michelle in California, USA. By using Roamania you agree to them.
1. Roamania is a free beta
Roamania is free and still being built. Features may change or stop, and things will sometimes break. We’ll try not to lose your saved places and trips, but please keep anything you can’t afford to lose somewhere else too.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 13. If you’re under 18, use Roamania with a parent or guardian’s permission. One account per person; keep your sign-in to yourself.
3. What you share
- Only share or paste links and text you’re allowed to share. Roamania doesn’t host or republish the videos; it reads them to find places for your own planning.
- Videos, captions and photos belong to their creators. Roamania shows where a place came from so credit stays with them.
- You keep ownership of what you add. You give us permission to process it to run Roamania for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Plans are suggestions, check before you go
Roamania uses AI and map data to find places and build plans. It can be wrong: a place can be matched to the wrong branch, opening hours can change, a suggested place may not suit you, and travel times are estimates. Check hours, prices, bookings and travel rules yourself before you rely on them. Places marked “Suggested” were first suggested by Roamania, not found in a video you shared. Roamania doesn’t make bookings or payments for you.
5. Using it fairly
Don’t:
- try to get around daily limits, or use Roamania to download or collect content in bulk;
- break, probe or overload the service, or access other people’s accounts;
- use Roamania for anything illegal or to harass anyone.
We may limit or close accounts that do.
6. Other services
Roamania relies on services such as Clerk, Google Maps, Anthropic and OpenAI, and on the platforms you share links from. Their own terms apply to them, and we’re not responsible for their content or availability. Maps are provided by Google.
7. No warranty
Roamania is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
8. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Roamania isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from relying on a plan, such as a closed venue, a missed reservation or travel costs. Because Roamania is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to US $50.
9. Ending
You can stop using Roamania and delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, Delete account). We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we shut the service down, in which case we’ll try to give notice so you can save your plans.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll update the date above and let you know by email or in the app. Using Roamania after that means you accept the new terms.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA.
